Sitting up on his own, good head control, teeth coming through, interest in food...these were all signs that suggested to us that it was time to introduce Eloy to the world of solid food. Of course, his main food is still breast milk, but he is now experimenting with new flavours.
We've started with pureed, organic pumpkin. This is steamed and mixed with a dash of extra virgin olive oil and breastmilk. He has just a few small spoons, once a day. The first time he tried this there seemed to be mixed feelings about it. He made a fairly disgusted face, but went back for more all the same.
Congratulations Eloy on your first meal. I hope you will enjoy many more to come. I love food and your Mummy was always a good eater. She would eat anything we gave her.
ReplyDeleteHappy 1st Mother's Day to you Claire. You are a wonderful mother and a fantastic daughter. I love you very much.
Careful it doesn't go all over his face and body - he'll look like a little oompa-loompa! but it's nice to see my nephew is vegetarian...for now at least - Too many more of those argentinian bbqs and he'll end up like his father...!
ReplyDeleteHappy mother's day Mama Claire!
Eloy
Love the video!
ReplyDeleteYes, Lizzy. This is very well.
