Every day Eloy learns to do something new. It's funny how even the smallest change has one of us shouting out to the other "quickly, come and see what Eloy's doing!". So we don't forget in months to come, here's a list of things Eloy has learned to do recently (3 1/2 months old).
* blow out
* pick up a toy if he drops it
* grab things with both hands
* move things towards his mouth and often get it in!
* sit on his own without falling on his face (although not for very long)
* touch his toes
* getting closer to a real laugh
* can go from lying down, to sitting, to standing, with support for balance
* loves kicking his legs in the water and wetting everything in the bathroom

ReplyDeleteAs I'm only there about once a week (sometimes a little less), I can see these changes too. His legs are getting super chubby, but some of that's muscle too. I was pulling him up into a sitting position on the bed the other day. I pulled him up, I lowered him down. I pulled him up, and suddenly he was standing! That wasn't me - I used the same pressure - it was all his powerful legs!
